Daniel started DJing in the late 80's early 90's at the age of 15 for legendary London warehouse rave promoters Labrynth/2000ad, playing all styles of music including: House, Euro, Hardcore and Drum & Bass. Through his knowledge and experience of DJing by the mid 90's Daniel had his own unique style of Nu Nrg & Hardcore, which he labeled Hard Dance, and the music press (DJ, Dream, Wax, Music), credited him with pioneering trance core. Long before Hard House had become commercially viable Daniel had established himself as a well respected figure within the genre for supporting the music from its very early roots.

HoneyPot Records was established by Bunter way back in 1998. After releasing a number of anthems and ground breaking tracks across early hard house/trance labels Up For It, Hard Trax and on various white labels, Billy Daniel Bunter decided he wanted just one label to focus on and put all of his energy and knowledge in to a label that would cover every aspect of the growing U.K Hard House & Hard Trance scene.
